Quick, Draw – sort of like Pictionary with a computer

Everyone doodles. Your mind wanders, you’ve got a pen and paper, just doodle. Now your little drawings can help a neural network learn. With Quick, Draw you can help teach this neural network to recognize doodles the same way we do.

Doodle recognition relies on understanding of certain shapes as they relate to real world objects. It’s actually pretty amazing when you think about it, the connections our brain makes. This network is learning to make those connections as well.

Each game asks you to draw six doodles, 20 seconds each. While you draw, the network tries to guess what your drawing based on how it relates to shapes they already knows. This game works very well if you are using a touch screen device but you could probably play just as easily with a mouse. The more you play, the more it learns, even if your drawings are horrible. There’s no artistic skills needed to play this game! Quick, Draw is free online.
