Update: ..and in news just in from Metafilter, apparently GM is hard at work on a new generation of fuel cell cars codenamed AUTOnomy which would have the propulsion and control system embedded in the chassis. Personally I’ll believe it when I see it, and especially since the artist’s mock up looks so much like Spielberg’s fictional Sci-Fi Lexus vehicle in Minority Report.
