Computer mouses (that’s the correct plural form, I checked) are bulky. They don’t really slide into the laptop bag as well as, well the laptop. But using a track pad can be sort of lame. The Recon Wireless Folding Mouse is a mouse that travels flat to save space.
The Recon is a foldable mouse which probably seems like an awkward idea. The first thing to realize is that the mouse was designed completely differently than what we’re used to seeing. This isn’t a sort of pod designed to rest mostly in the palm of your hand. Instead, the Recon is flat when at “rest” and when needed, the top folds to create a more familiar mouse shape.
The mouse comes in black or white and features laser tracking. It is very thin at only 9mm thick and can slide into your pocket for quick transport. It has a built in rechargeable battery and runs for something like three months on a single charge. It works up to 10 meters away giving it a pretty good range. The Recon Wireless Folding Mouse is $42.50.
