Sacred spaces all have their own unique sounds and generally speaking, you would have to visit those spaces to hear them. Bells, the sounds of prayers and chants, all of these are audio signals that let you know where you are at. Sacred Spaces is a playlist featuring these and remixed them into cool music that you can listen to, for free.

This is a collaborative project between sound designers and musicians from around the world. Whether they just provided a clean recording of a sacred space or actually did the work mixing it and creating the tracks that you hear, none of this work would have been possible without the efforts of everyone involved.

Sounds come from spaces all over the world such as Spain, India and even the UK and US. They have been reimagined and worked by artists but you can still hear the unique audio that inspired the track. If you’ve got a few minutes, check out this playlist.
