Security Kiss lets you browse the web anonymously, easily and for free [Daily Freeware]

Securitykiss

There are times when it’s useful to pretend you come from another country when you’re online. Like you’re trying to watch a clip of a Jon Stewart show from outside the USA, or you’re trying to catch up on a BBC show from New York. There can be even more pressing reasons, such as avoiding arrest for surfing to a ‘freedom’ site if you live under a repressive regime in a developing country.

Security Kiss is a new privacy program (aka a VPN) which let you browse the web without divulging your location, IP address or other identification information. What makes it different is the fact that it’s a cinch to set up and run. Just download, install and when it’s running click on the Connect button. That’s it. The free version gives you up to 300 MB a day at normal speeds, but if you pay just €2.99 a month you’ll get high speeds and up to 20 GB a month traffic allowance. More than enough to watch video from a remote region.

  • Nice to see one of these companies running a freemium model, I'm sure those 300mb will be welcome to people in repressed countries, and everyone else whose a bit paranoid.

  • I currently use PirateRay.com and it allows to surf anonymously with just changing the settings in the browser , and this service is cheap and without bandwidth limit.
