Sigma Ultra-Telephoto Zoom Lens takes astounding photos

There are those out there that make a living off of photography. Some people are at the level of professionalism in this particular field that they are living more than comfortable lifestyles. If you should happen to be one of those people, then you are likely in the business of needing various kinds of camera lenses for different photography jobs.

Should you need to take a photo in which you can see the tiniest detail on a small creature, then you may have interest in the Sigma Ultra Telephoto Zoom Lens. It has an extremely fast aperture of F2.8 at 500mm and F5.6 at 1000mm. This $26,000 piece of equipment is meant for a Canon dslr, and those with far too much money on their hands. Special Low Dispersion glass, and three Extraordinary Low Dispersion glass elements inside of this contraption will give you amazing correction for all sorts of situations. As this would be a lot to take in all at once, there is a LCD display that will show focal distances and lengths to make things easier for the photographer.

  • First, a lens doesn't take photos; neither does a camera. Only a good photographer can take astounding photos. Second, this is a 200mm-to-500mm lens; so there is no 1000mm. Having said that, thanks for posting…interesting if only for the novelty. :)

  • The header photo seems… awkward. I'm sure one would never attempt to use this lens handheld. The tripod is your friend.
