Smart Compose – write emails faster with Gmail

Tried of writing out full emails but the mini responses that Gmail currently has as an option just not doing it for you, communication wise? Good news, Smart Compose is the new predictive text program coming to your Gmail account.

While you’re typing, things that you commonly say, such as your address, will pop up and you can choose to auto complete with that information. This will allow you to complete generic emails much faster than before meaning you have more time to check more emails. Maybe get down to inbox zero one of these days (that day is never coming).

The real potential for this is to speed up some basic replies and it won’t likely replace the magic of writing emails. Google can’t read your mind but the more you use it, the smarter it’s likely to get. Anyway, if you hate writing your own emails, this option will be there to lend a hand to you. It will be showing up in the new Gmail over the next couple of weeks.
