What happens when the battery dies in a year or two? I suspect, from looking at the design, you'd have to dig it out with a hammer and chisel and mortar in a new one.
Hi 13ft, this is John of Solar Cynergy. Great question. We actually use capacitors so the lifetime is much longer than 2 years. (warrantied for 10) – however, you're absolutely right, if it does fail, you will have to chisel/cut it out in order to drop in a new one.
