Soundband – There are voices in my head!

You want to listen to music without becoming a hazard to yourself or others. It’s somewhat difficult to keep your earphones in and be able to hear the sounds of human or vehicular traffic buzzing around. We saw a great way to listen to music discreetly while still being able to hear what surrounds you, but what about those that don’t want something in their ears?

The Soundband uses bone conduction to get crisp, clear music to you without covering up your ears. This means you don’t have to take out your ear buds whenever you want to have a conversation. These are ear cuffs that sit behind rather than on your ear, and the multi-function button will be behind you. The button is your control panel for on, off, answer/end call, call last number, and more. You’ll be able to get this in onyx, jasper, sterling, birdseye, carbon, and kevlar colors/designs. This will cost you $135, and they have released an SDK for it if you want your own app to work with it.
