Gizmodo reports on a Sports Video Analyser which can ‘create a game summary that is full of nothing but action.’ It does it by editing out the boring bits and just leaving in goals etc.

This sounds absolutely naff to be honest. It’s bad enough watching edited highlights, but if you start just viewing edited bits of those you might as well give up. What next, a drama program editor so you only get the anguished highlights? A comedy editor with just the laughs? A soap editor with only scenes of tearful recrimination? Sheesh!
