Spotify Radio keeps your playlists on wooden discs

We all have some way to listen to our music. Some of us prefer the MP3 player, CDs still sit well with some, but what about those of us that want a brand new way to listen to music?

The Spotify Radio is a prototype created by Jordi Parra that will let you listen to your music via small wooden discs with magnetic backing. Each disc will be associated with a different Spotify playlist, and have a write-on surface, so you can keep track of what music is where. Whenever you want to listen to something different, just put one on the white circle on the radio and jam out. The discs would use RFID to identify themselves, and there on buttons located on the radio to help you skip tracks. As it stands, you do have to hook up the radio to your PC to stream the music, but Parra is hoping to make the final version wireless.
