Strip n’save.

These Power Strip Savers are a simply brilliant idea. I constantly have to juggle with naff black power bricks when trying to extract precious juice. I wish someone would do similar over here. Oh and the very naff company site is here.

‘Simply plug your power adapters into this handy cable, and plug the cable into your powerstrip. Youll get full use of the sockets on your powerstrip, plus an extra socket for every Powerstrip Saver cable you use!’

  • And of course you break every health and safety rule on the planet and run the risk of a fire……

  • I don’t get it, why would this break health and safety fules or run the risk of fire?

  • duh! risk of fire = hazard!

  • Every additional connection adds risk, electrical power itself is a risk. Though it certainly is less risky than gas or kerosine which it replaced.

One must assume risk to gain the benefit of convenience and unless these devices are themselves below code I don’t see them as any more risky than power strips or personal computers.

  • What Andi said! :-)

  • Well, if you’re frightened, they also sell a version without the extra outlet, which should help you resist the temptation to plug an infinite amount of adapters into your outlet.
