SuperHeadz BlackBird Fly Camera – real camera, real film, real fun…

Who said film was dead. This SuperHeadz BlackBird Fly 35mm camera is a twin lens reflex camera which does all that stuff you remember cameras used to do. Like take photos on standard chemically treated paper. It features a top down viewfinder as well as conventional and takes the kind of cool retro shots that will get you into arts school quicker than you can say Andy Warhol is a muppet. More here. Priced at $129.99.

The Blackbird, fly is a twin-lens reflex camera: one lens is used to expose the film, while the other is used like a viewfinder. It’s a famous style of camera whose history stretches back to the 1920s. Unlike most tiwn-lens reflex camera, which take larger 120 format film, the Blackbird, fly uses 35mm film which you can process, scan and print at any one-hour photo store. Available only from Japan.
