Sympodium DT770 – Interactive Pen Display

The Sympodium DT770 is a presentation tablet that allows you to draw on your display for interactive presentations. The unit itself is a 17″ 4:3 1280 x 1024 LCD display. It has a tethered, battery free pen that allows you to draw on the screen as you would a tablet PC. It plugs into the presentation PC via VGA connectors with USB or serial connections for the controls. There are dedicated buttons on the display to control pen colours and for accessing applications. You can also drive the software menus just using your finger instead of the pen. It’ll spruce up your presentations however it’s not cheap at US$3999.

Just connect the DT770 to a computer and projector to comfortably interact with material at the front of the room, while your audience simultaneously views the same content on a large screen. The 17″ (43.2 cm) SXGA screen accepts input from a battery-free, tethered pen to control all your applications or write notes. You can touch the screen with your finger to navigate the interface menus of your room-control system.
