The T-Eye ADR3000 Drive Recorder contains two VGA quality 170 degree video cameras, a GPS receiver and a solid state recorder which constantly capture footage of your car journey at 20 fps. Immediately something like an accident happens, the G-force sensors detect the impact and freeze the important 4 minutes of video and audio, along with GPS details of your vehicle’s movements. Voila, an impartial, reliable and incorruptible passenger to prove that it was the other guy speeding what caused the crunch. Honest. £299.99.
Unlike other in-car recording systems, the T-eye Drive Recorder is used to record both video and audio data in a continuous loop fashion. If the vehicle is involved in an accident such as a collision, impact, or sudden acceleration-related incident, this data is marked and stored. One may analyse the data to find its root cause by playing back the scenes of interest where acceleration, vehicle speed, direction, and location are available for review. The built-in GPS logger records speed, location and direction of travel, which can be played back with the video using the T-eye Player software that is supplied on the SD card. Data can be overlayed on to Goole Maps for further review.
