Teeny dots

The Nanotechnology Research Institute of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) in Japan, has ‘developed a sub-micron ink-jet technology that makes it possible to dispense dots 1/1000 smaller than the dots produced by currently available technologies.’

What does this mean? It means that they can ‘ink-jet print’ ultrafine electronics and wiring onto boards, which will allow for even teenier, weenier devices for us to lose.
