Tetris Desk Lamp will fit just about anywhere

When you want a source of illumination for your desk, you don’t just want another fluorescent light bulb casting a garish light onto your work. That is both boring and stifling for your creativity. That’s why you should look into something like the Tetris Desk Lamp (warning, PDF), as it is both wonderfully colorful, and doesn’t function like any other type of lamp.

This officially licensed product uses the inspiration from the game to provide you with light. Each individual tetrimino (yes, that’s what they’re actually called) will light up if and when it is stacked upon another already lit one. You can arrange these however you would like, which also means you can control how much or little light you would like at any given time. There is no word on how these things are powered just yet, but I would assume that there are batteries involved. If you would like one, have about $50 at the ready for this September when they come onto the market.
