Spiffy Text (aka text2logo) is a free online logo creator. The idea is sound, although I must say the presentation of the site leaves a bit to be desired. Nice idea, shame about the package.
Still, that’s probably churlish, since they’re offering the service for free (with a watermark mind you). So if you’re in the market for a cheap and cheerful plain style logotype, then this place is probably worth a visit.
