Textblade – a mini keyboard for texting

texblade unfolded

Pros to touchscreen texting: Full keyboard instead of hitting the same button three times for a single letter. Cons to touchscreen texting: The full keyboard is tiny and your fingers are probably not. The Textblade is a portable keyboard designed for texting.

The Textblade is a small portable keyboard, designed to work with your phone. It folds down like, well, a switchblade. When it unfolds, it has full keys to make typing possible. It’s set up to mimic the look and feel of a keyboard but without all of the bloat.

It’s very thin and lightweight making it perfect for carrying around. Obviously, this is a cumbersome product if all you want to do is fire of a quick text but if you’re trying to send an email or have a lengthy discussion via the internet, this can really help you get your point across with far less typos than just using your fingers on the screen. It works for a month between charges and is compatible with both IOS and Android devices. The Textblade is $99.

  • There is an official promo video on Youtube. If this little thing is as efficient as shown in the video, then it is worth the 99$ price tag. Can’t wait to see reviews. Maybe here on Red Ferret soon ?
