Guitar players always need a good pick around. And, being so small, they’re sometimes hard to find.
The new Pick Punch is a guitarist’s handiest do-it-yourself tool. It resembes a stapler and acts like a hole punch but it punches out usable guitar picks.
First introduced in 2009, the Pick Punch is available in the traditional style or a 351 style pick shape that’s also the company logo. Future designs include a smaller Jazz pick, a teardrop pick, a smaller version of the triangle pick, and a mandolin pick version. The website includes a useful “how to” section with videos and pictures and a forum where guitarists can discuss picks and how to make them.
Available in clear, black or natural colored sheets of polycarbonate, acetal or nylon, the demand has already caused some of this novel device to be out of stock. The Pick Punch begins shipping around December 18th.
