The robots are coming, the robots are coming….

According to this report from the EE Times, the Japanese are about to go all out to drive the domestic robot as a ‘must have’ consumer product. One way they hope to achieve this is by driving the standardisation of parts to bring the costs down, see? Makes sense.

Judging by some of the cool products on show at this year’s Robodex exhibition [warning: quicktime video link] in Tokyo they really seem to be making technological headway. But what I want to know is, where will these little metal marvels sleep?
