The Ultimate Meal – no synthetics, just some grand old organic nutrition and nourishment at $3 a meal

We almost certainly eat too much. Too much of this, too much of that, too much choice, sugars, carbs, junk. You name it, we consume too much of it. So it’s interesting to come across a product which claims to provide all the nourishment the body needs, but in a convenient easy to consume smoothie mix.

The Ultimate Meal has no synthetic vitamins or powders, just ‘raw, properly sprouted, fresh freeze dried’ plant foods, without yeast, soy, wheat, fructose or other bad things. In fact judging by the marketing blurb, you would think this is literally food from heaven, and certainly the ingredients page seems to include most of the major super foods on the planet.

We’re a little concerned that everything on the site is apparently the ‘ultimate‘, but we’re willing to suspend disbelief, if only for long enough to fire up a Vita-Mix. Anyhoo, a 1200g can with 30 servings will cost you $74.95 and supposedly give you enough wholesome nourishment to last for two weeks. Now whether you’ll actually want to continue living after that fortnight is another matter altogether.
