Theremin Mini Kit lets you make music…with SCIENCE!

Learning how to play an instrument can be pretty difficult. Let’s say you pick a stringed instrument. Not only do you need to learn simple things like how to hold it, but also individual notes on each string, how to combine them, bowing techniques, and upkeep.  If you’d prefer an instrument that you don’t even have to touch, then do I have an instrument for you!

The Theremin Mini Kit will not only let you make music out of thin air, it will also let you build it from the ground up! This kit is a soldering-free way to make an instrument, and will teach you how to play. The theremin is a touch-less instrument that reads your hand movements and turns it into sound. Yes, you can now flail and make beautiful music. It has two volume levels that are controlled by an “on” and “off” switch, and comes with a mini music sheet. This will still take some practice to become very proficient at, but for a $40 kit, it will be a fun introduction to a new musical endeavor.
