Titanium Man Ring – a micro toolbox on your finger

manring2

If you’ve ever found yourself stuck without a screwdriver while out and about, or wished you had a handy little blade to cut open some packaging, then you’re clearly a candidate for one of the increasingly cool range of ultra portable toolkits that you can buy nowadays. Victorinox products immediately spring to mind, but there are other options which offer just as much utility.

However we bet you’ve never come across anything as portable as this Titanium Man Ring. This standard sized ring, designed and manufactured by Bruce Boone, is made of aerospace grade titanium, and contains five useful ‘get you out of trouble’ tools which no decent working man should be without. There’s a knife blade, a saw, a serrated blade for tougher cutting, a bottle opener and a comb. Yes a comb. For hair. Apparently it works very well for its size.

The ring is custom made to fit your choice of finger, and can be engraved with your choice of macho or tender words. We wouldn’t suggest that you rely on the thing for any serious back-woodsman type adventures, but this is just the kind of device which could be oh so valuable on the 9.30am commute when you need a quick bit of sawing done.

Unfortunately the price may be a little bit of a sore (!) point however, since all this ultra cool metal work doesn’t come cheap. We suggest you start saving for the $385 now.
