Toy behemoth Hasbro has released a music-playing toothbrush called Tooth Tunes. The idea being you keep brushing your teeth until the music runs out. The freaky part is the music is transmitted into your ears via bone conduction through your jaw so you can only hear the music if you’re brushing correctly.

Now don’t get me wrong, anything that helps children to clean their teeth more effectively and makes it fun gets a tick in my book. However each toothbrush uses 3 non-replaceable AAA batteries as well as a non-replaceable head. Add that to changing your toothbrush every 3 months and that’s a lot of electronics going in the bin. Come on Hasbro, bit more a green effort here eh?
