Try this quick and dirty DIY WiFi Antenna hack, which apparently significantly boosts your signal on the cheap (i.e. no repeaters needed). # Download Template # Open in MS Paint and resize as desired. It works, though it doesn't make a vast difference. I used to live in a long, narrow apartment and made one to focus the WiFi in a single direction since the router had to be in the room at the very end. Managed to extend coverage by an extra room, which was just what was needed.
I put the foil on the inside, IIRC.
Hmm…one room is pretty good, Chris I reckon. And the price has gotta be unbeatable. :)
