Turning Web mail services into POP3

Yahoo! email users – as well as those using services like Hotmail and email.com – should check out these two products, which let you access your Web mail using an ordinary email reader like Outlook Express.

YahooPOPs! for Yahoo! Mail is a free Windows package which is very much in early development, but looks to be worth a download nonetheless.

A more comprehensive and versatile product is Web2Pop, which adds POP3 functionality to a range of Web email services, including AOL, Lycos and Yahoo!. The package costs 19.67 and works with most versions of Windows.

Update: Forgot to mention ePrompter. Worth a look, although I can’t say I like the old fashioned interface very much.
