UNO III Streetbike is a transforming electric unicycle

When you live in a place where parking is sparse, it’s common to find people who get around without a car. Walking, biking and riding mopeds seem to be the most prevalent. Mopeds are nice, because they get you around faster, and don’t require as much work. Well here’s a powered bike that takes a different approach, by way of transforming.

The UNO III is one of the first transforming bikes that I’ve ever seen. When you start out at low speeds, the bike has a compact design, allowing for easier movements and sharper turns. It balances itself on a pair of wheels using internal gyros. However, once you start to pick up speed, a third wheel comes out, and it becomes something very similar to a motorcycle. The top speed is only around 30mph, so you aren’t going to be taking this out on the highway. However, it is a completely electric vehicle, and will take you around 30-35 miles on a 3-4 hour charge.
