Unusual Hotels of the World. A great resource if you’re looking for something a little different to spice up your vacations, like the Woodpecker Hotel featured in the tree above. Hotels are rated by the ‘wow’ factor and the site is chock full of information about facilities, user ratings, offers and tariffs. There’s a newsletter and the design of the site is top notch (although double clicking on a link is so 1990s, guys). Definitely worth a bookmark.
