USB Finger Mouse

Fingermouse

The USB Finger Mouse. This is an innovative little mouse that you strap to your index finger with a Velcro strap. It comes with an 800dpi optical sensor and guess what? It actually works, and is especially cool for laptop use. We’ve been playing with one here at Ferret Towers for a while, and if you have a problem with trackballs or conventional rodents, then this is definitely recommended as an option. The plus points are that it’s really nicely sensitive and works brilliantly on your trouser leg (although we’ve noticed that the darker the material the better in terms of responsiveness). The other plus is that you can type with it still attached to your finger, which makes for quick and easy transitions from mousing to typing.

On the negative side it’s not 100% ergonomic in that you may have to play around with positioning on your finger to get optimum access to the buttons. However with a little more design work it could be superb, so watch out for V2.0. Oh and it desperately needs a third button on the scroll wheel. But overall we’re pretty darn impressed – great build quality, responsive action, light touch buttons. Nice one. $35.00.

USB Finger Mouse which will never hunt for any space on your desk. Use this novel ergonomic mouse which fits on your finger while you are working or surfing on the Internet. It is ideal for using at home, at office, especially for mobile traveller. It works while strapped to the index finger and the button is operated with the thumb and it can work on any surface, such as clothes, trousers……

  • How miuch do i wish this was wireless i would LOVE it 4 Eva :) seriously though i’m not sure about strapping yourself to your laptop sounds a bit dangerous, especially if it’s a Dell, it explodes, you run off, it follows you hahahahaha.

  • Actually the cable is not that bad, but I absolutely agree a wireless version would be super. LOL on the DELL issue, you are so right. :-)
