V.90 to go…

Billionton’s BT56R V.90 Wireless Modem is a conventional dial up modem that can provide a wireless Bluetooth Internet connection up to 100 meters away. Hook the modem up to your standard telephone line, switch on your Bluetooth enabled PDA, laptop or whatever and happy surfing. No word on price or availability I’m afraid.

Remember though, that 100 meters really means a room and a bit at most in the real world.

I’m amazed that it took so long. Yes it may sound silly, but there are still a lot more dial up modem users out there than broadband. And yes I know that Sony also do one, but it appears to be quite hard to locate.
