vFlyer is a pretty cool way to set up a universal classified advert which you can use on any of the major sales and auction sites or even offline. You register for free, login and create your ad in any of a number of categories from cars, to houses, to electronics etc and then select a template. Press the publish button and voila, you’ve got an ad you can use on eBay, Craigslist or print out as a PDF and stick on the tree outside your house. The company doesn’t appear to be worried about getting money from customers as yet, so it might be a short lived exercise, but a neat idea well executed nonetheless.
vFlyer is a classified ad creation, management and submission platform that enables online sellers to quickly and easily create attractive classified ads or “virtual flyers” that can posted on dozens of leading online marketplaces in a few simple clicks. Our goal is make classified ads as easy and effective as possible for individuals and businesses selling online.
“Account Creation was not successful. Reason: Invalid Zip Code.”
eh? what’s it trying to say? Yanks only ??
when that happens, i always revert to “90210, Beverly Hills, CA” :)
Yep, me too. I have a stock CA zip I use a lot. But it’s a good point, there’s no real reason it has to be *just* US is there? I may drop them a line.
vFlyer plans to make money via 1) keyword advertising on secondary pages, 2) premium placement of classified ads as well as bundled ad placement and 3) subscription-based accounts for certain vertical industries…hope that helps answer your question. Let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks Oliver. :-) What he also fails to mention is that they’re looking to produce an international version ‘shortly’. Hey Oliver, how long does it take to change the field to PostCode/Zip Code and allow universal number letter combos? :-)
