Good people of earth, we declare this vintage 70’s transistor radio to be the ugliest thing we have found on your puny planet, and also the most expensive piece of 70’s plastic tat memorabilia at $119.00. Are you not ashamed? And please retire those hideous tie-dye T-shirts for good now, eh?
These Candle 1218 multi-band radios were built in Japan more than a quarter-century ago. We discovered them, tucked behind a pallet of big screen TV’s and CD players, in an electronics warehouse in Texas. Amazingly, they’re still in their original boxes, like the day they left the factory.
