Wacom Giving refreshes their bamboo tablets

Wacom has decided to announce that they will be giving their Bamboo line a refresher. These newer low-cost tablets are very flat-surfaced, and have a rather small amount of bezel around their stylus-friendly surface. The new look has a very modern style to it, and the larger active area to bezel ratio is more than welcome.

The line now possesses the Bamboo Connect which costs $79, and has a 5.8×3.6-inch work surface, the $99 Bamboo Capture carries the same work area, and the $199 Bamboo Create, which has the 8.5×5.4-inch work surface. The smaller of the two support multi-touch which will allow you to use your fingers instead of the stylus. The Connect and the Capture both sport a USB cable that will connect to your PC by default, but you can pay an extra $39 for a wireless option. The wireless option includes a compact dongle for your computer, a wireless adapter, and a battery for the tablet. You would have a wireless range of about 33 feet, and could be fully recharged within about 6 hours.
