Foosball is not a game. I mean, it is a game but it is not a game. Alliances are formed over the table. Decades long friendships are ended. What happens on that wooden court is real. On its surface, this is a normal foosball table. Designed to be played by two to four players at a time, on two opposing teams. The goal is to get the ball past the other guys’ players, which are moved with rods, and into the goal. It’s tabletop soccer.

This one is probably better than the one in your old rec room though. This one has LED lighting around the “field”. The LEDS can be set to different colors and look good with or without the overhead lights on. The addition of lights is apparently the company’s way of bringing this into the 21st century.
