Water Bobble – recycled water bottle with filter cap

Waterbobble

This Water Bobble is a recycled plastic water bottle with its own filter purifier in the cap. Just fill it up with tap water and get some carbon filtered goodness down your throat instead of buying all that fancy shmancy supermarket bottle water. Feeling nice and green yet? $10.00 (replaceable filter $7).

He tackles the problem in style, with this curvaceous, recycled plastic water bottle with a built-in filter. Just fill it up with regular tap water, and enjoy pure filtered water straight from the snap-open spout. The replaceable carbon filter is built right in, and is good for 300 uses (40 gallons). BPA-free. Made in USA.

  • What is this filter supposed to take out of the water? There's certainly nothing in my domestic water supply that needs to be taken out so the thing is a waste of money for people living in my country (the Netherlands) and I think the same goes for all countries in the European union.
They have a strange way of counting too. "replace the bottle every two months – that's 300 bottles". Obviously assuming I would use 5 bottles of water per day.

    • Philip, shhhhh….! :) If we can get the peeps to stop buying bottled water it's a start right? Don't mention the awesome top quality of European tap water, it'll only confuse matters.

  • well, the bottle only holds half a litre, so 5 uses per day might be possible and medically advised ^^
still, the 150-160 litres of water i could obtain (say BUY) from my local store for about less than a fiver.
meaning….. even BUYING your water at the shop is cheaper than this thing, not to say drinking our pure water right from the sink.

(note: if this openID stuff would ever work…..)
