Wear a piece of a rocket!

Werenbach rocket material - shell of the rocket engine

Space. It captures our imagination. But whoever thought we’d be wearing anything made from outer space? Werenbach Earth Collection Watches has created sleek, stylish watches feature a dial made from space rockets!

Video here

These dials are made from the 1st stage of the Soyuz MS-02 rocket, the rocket that launched Sputnik and Alan Bartlett Shepard Jr. (the 1st American in space) and which still shuttles astronauts to the international Space Station. The different colored dials denote which part of the rocket the material comes from:

  • the white dial is from the top of the rocket
  • the grey dial is from the rocket’s booster shell
  • the orange dial is from the shell of the rocket engine
  • the silver dial is from the inner part of the rocket shell

Werenbach - rocket material used

Made from original rocket material, every part shows different signs of wear – something that can be a real conversation piece. Three of these watch prototypes were tested by astronauts in space. Waterproof up to a 50 meter depth (approximately 164 feet), these dials have a scratch-resistant sapphire glass. Manufactured in Switzerland, their successful Kickstarter campaign achieved over 19 times its goal. Each watch is numbered and handsome as well. Definitely an amazingly unique timepiece.
