Everyone’s Instagram is unique, just like them. Instagram is also, as far as your computer is concerned, data. The Weevmee is a website that takes the data from your Instagram updates into textile like pieces of art.

The site takes your Instagram posts for the last year and creates a wholly unique piece of art from it that’s as pretty as the photos it’s made from. Probably even more so. How many images you took during the year is what determines how dense your art turns out. The more you take, the heavier the pattern. If you don’t take as many, then it’s a lighter pattern. Both look lovely.

The big draw of this (aside from making cool data based art) is that everyone will generate a unique image. No two will be alike simply because no two people are alike. It also uses searched hashtags to create the images. The website is still in Beta and they have plans on the horizon to make the process even cooler. Until then, you can still create your own Weevmee for the 2014 year.
