WhenIsGood – no-fuss online meeting planner

whenisgood-1

If you have ever tried to coordinate a teleconference, meeting, or even dinner with your mates you know how hard it can be to find a time that is good for everyone. What’s more, if you’re doing this by email it can be pretty complicated keeping track of who replied and when they said they could make it. In most office situations there would be some enterprise application to help out, but outside of the office what can you use? WhenIsGood is an online calendaring tool that lets you coordinate event timings with minimum fuss.

You start by creating an event, then block out swathes of available time, in increments of 15, 30, or 60 minutes, or whole days. It even lets you specify timezones so if your invitees are half a world away they can see the available times converted to their local timezone. Once your event is created you send a link to the event to everyone and wait for them to respond. They make their changes in the WhenIsGood calendar – all you have to do is wait for the answers to roll in, then check back at your event link for the results. No registration required, but if you do this a lot then there’s no reason to not get the free account – it lets you save multiple events and tracks the responses for you on your dashboard so you don’t have to remember lots of event links. Paid account options are also available.

An easy way to find out when everyone is free for your next meeting or event. Click the grid for all the times that are good for you – you get a link to email to your invitees. They see your proposed times and click on when they are free. You visit your results page and see when everyone can do. No sign-up form. No password to choose. No fuss at all.
