White Goat – Office recycling with a twist

White Goat

This ingenious White Goat machine, made by Japanese company Oriental, turns used office paper into toilet paper. Simply feed shredded paper (or it can shred it for you) into the White Goat (after you’ve removed all the staples!) and it will mix the paper with water and presto – a perfect roll of toilet paper emerges on the other side.

The process takes around 30 minutes and 40 sheets of paper to make one roll. Its designers say it will save 60 trees per year. Seems like it would work best in large companies or large commercial spaces. Not a bad idea though and you get free-ish toilet paper too! I wonder what happens to the waste water though?

The equipment in here dissolves shredded paper in water to make toilet paper. All the customer need to do is put the shredded paper in, take the toilet paper out and supply the machine with water.

  • Perfect! I'll get one for the home office (or should I just install it in the bathroom?) and never buy toilet paper again!

  • Just make sure you take the staples out first…
