There is currently work being done on a great device, that will scramble a signal and make using any cell phone, inside an automobile,virtually impossible.Let's pray that it hits the market soon and that it will also destroy the operation of all items, such as net/notebooks as well!
Do you mean an electromagnetic pulse? An EMP pulse will also render the car useless/inoperable… :p
Disabling a cellphone/radio's signal won't stop morons from using gadgets while driving. The iPad for instance works perfectly fine without a cellphone signal…
As a person who was recently rear-ended while stopped in traffice, on the interstate, by a young woman looking down at her iPhone's GPS app on her lap, I can't even begin to tell you how worrisome the concept of mounting an iPad in a car is to me. . .
