World’s first touchscreen watch?

The Tissot Touch is being billed as the world’s first touch screen watch. Gimmicky it may be, but Tissot do make extremely good timepieces and this one looks to be no exception. It features compass, altimeter, thermometer, barometer and…er…watch – and all accessible by touching the relevant point on the watch face.

  • more then 10 years ago casio made a touch screen watch……..

  • yes… i myself have the casio's first touch screen watch.. i wonder how much it would be..

  • It's the CASIO DB-1000 – touch screen memo db, calculator, watch (1984). I loved the darn thing. Bought it in Germany the day of the launch. Didn't see one in North-America. Still works but the metallic custom band broke and it developed a small blue spot which makes it distracting to read the screen. Data entry is like the early Palms – draw number or letter – became easy after practice. I'd buy another one in a hearth beat if I only could find one. Casio gave up on it way too easy.

  • Ive got a t-touch, it is really intuitive, works very well. I wasn't aware that casio had made one previously i thought this was a first for Tissot.
