World’s first Toyota Prius Limo – shirley shome mishtake…?

The world’s first Toyota Prius Limo. Canadian with way too much time on his hands decides to accommodate his family of six in green style. Six doors, 10 seats, 50 mpg and a bunch of turning heads at the mall. Er..do not try this at home folks. More here.  The price was small. The cost was high. We have less than $10,000.00 in it. All the parts came from two cars with non rebuild able junk titles. I was able to recoup…

Keypad Credit Card – PIN, Chip, Passcode, Sign and Hurry…?

The Keypad Credit Card – aka Embedded Authentication Device – is…well a credit card with a built-in number pad. Why? Well…um…perhaps because they can? The company’s last effort along these lines was a credit card with a password screen, which also seemed a little redundant. We would have thought that a PIN number, signature strip, encrypted chip, security strip number and card number was enough for most people. Maybe they’re just a tad more paranoid than we are?  For example, a…

15″ Gigantor Digital Photo Frame – big enough to store Tom Cruise’s ego…maybe…

15” Gigantor Digital Photo Frame. The story here is not so much the fact that this is a large digital frame, but the price. $249.99 is teeny, tiny digital frame levels, which makes this one heck of a bargain. It’s got a cherry wood frame, plays JPG or BMP formats and contains a memory card adapter which copes with most anything you can throw at it.  Luckily the 15″ Gigantor Digital Photo Frame really delivers with a sharp 1024×768 resolution,…

Audio Tutor Children’s Drum Kit – drum kit teaches how to make noise, lots of noise

Bontempi Audio Tutor Drum Kit. How well do you know your neighbours? OK, scratch that. How well do you *want* to know your neighbours? This puppy teaches drumming through the use of LED lights, flashing drumheads and a plastic effigy of Ringo Starr sitting on the high hat singing “yeah yeah yeah” in a Liverpudlian falsetto. OK, so we lied about that, but the rest may be true. $129.95.  This childs three-piece drum set includes a built-in electronic tutor that…
