Sola Unagi Solar Generator – handheld solar power station charges 20 phones at a time

Solaunagi1

Sola Unagi Solar Generator. This 10kg power house of a solar carry-on can store enough juice in its internal battery packs to run a laptop for up to 6 hours, a small fridge for 4 hours and charge up 20 mobile phones at a time. It’s a Fuji Technologies design [PDF] and at just $1360.00 a pop, looks like it’s a tech box whose time has come.

In comparison with a gasoline generator, SOLAR UNAGI only weighs half of it at 10kgs, so can easily be carried by an adult. With an inbuilt battery, it’s able to be used any time, whether night, rainy, as long as it has already been charged.
