SpotMixer – make your own video ads for free

Spotmixer

SpotMixer is a new DIY video advertising service. Select a template, add images, video, music and voiceover, add your contact info and sign-off and save it for YouTube, Adwords or as an MP4 to use anywhere on the web you choose. Creating the ad is free, but you pay for distribution at prices starting at $79.00 for a month. It’s an interesting way to enfranchise small business advertising, although we do wonder whether you’d be better served just using something like Animoto and doing your own web distribution. One to watch.

Creating a Video Ad is free. Just register and get started. You can explore our many different templates, upload your photos and video, and try different music from our music library all for free. In order to distribute your Video Ad, you will need to purchase a SpotMixer plan. With a SpotMixer plan you can easily distribute your Video Ad to Google AdWords, You Tube, or post it on your own website using our embed code. Additionally you can download an MPEG 4 (.mp4) of your Video Ad, a format accepted by most Local and online directory sites.
