This Origami V12 Engine is a work of paper art, no question. Crafted out of 1978 pieces of paper and bits, runs off 2 x AA batteries and the kit plans and printout can be bought for around C$64.99 plus shipping. The videos are pretty awesome.

The D.I.Y. Kit Includes Some electrical wires, some little wood sticks, 12 mini switches, 12 red LEDs, a special motor, a battery holder with switch, a resistor, a CD-ROM (a PDF file with 575 pages instruction and another PDF file contain 195 patterns). You can print the patterns by yourself.
