Have you been sent a suspicious file? Want it checked out before you open it? Then Virus Total is probably what you need. Just upload the dodgy little varmint and the free service will check it over for Trojans and other nasties and give you a report back. You can send files by direct upload from the site, via email (send to scan@virustotal.com) or via a downloadable freeware program. It uses a bunch of services to do the checking, so it’s pretty safe. Nice.
