Livebrush Lite is a very clever Adobe Air freeware program which offers a new twist on the old painting/drawing theme. It works by adding in random ‘motion’ effects to your line strokes, which makes for some exotic and interesting results. Play around with it for a few moments and you can get some really lovely images laid down (although I still haven’t worked out how to get it to output colour). Nice bit of programming, David. The Pro version ($10) offers more exotica and export in vector format. Yum.
Creating graphics in Livebrush is as easy as drawing a line. The brush tool combines simple motion controls with styles and decorations. Toss graphics around the screen or elegantly swing the brush around your cursor…Styles let you customize how your brush reacts and how it looks. Learn the power of each setting in realtime using the convenient style preview. Decorations are graphics that can be stamped onto the screen or dynamically added to your line.
