Doodle – the online decision making tool

Doodle

Doodle is an online planning assistant which lets you gain consensus from a group of people quickly and easily. Use it to arrange a meeting or event time and location, or choose which movie to go to. All you do is set up the event or query, email the details to your friends and colleagues and let them vote on their favourite choice. It’s fast, easy and free (although there is a premium version). You can add attachments like a map or video, and while the interface is a little sparse, it works. Worth a look.

What can Doodle be used for? Doodle is extremely flexible. Typically, Doodle is used for scheduling events. However, you can use Doodle differently as well : as a reservation tool for a shared holiday home, for the exercise planning of your sports club, for instance, or to find out who travels to the company excursion by train and who by car as well as who has space left in the car. With Doodle you can also vote quickly and easily on the movie for the next DVD-night, the logo for the new web presence or the restaurant for the Christmas dinner.
