ROCCAT Apuri – If you can guess what this does

Image

.. then you’re pretty good. The ROCCAT Apuri is a USB hub, despite looking like a rolling drone thingie from Phantom Menace. Designed for gamers, the arm thing at the top will keep your mouse cord from dragging, providing scrolling game action without messy complications and snags. It’s also a powered USB hub and you can power it using the AC adapter or a USB cable. Oh and it’s got a blue glow. Around £36.99

The Apuri combines stability and practically in the way it takes over the job of managing your devices and cables on the desktop. The Apuri’s AC adapter delivers sufficient power to supply its USB ports with a total power of 2A – allowing you to connect up to four power-hungry USB devices without data loss. And if you don’t want to use the AC adapter, you can simply power the hub using the supplied USB cable.
